QAA Workshop Concluded

Purbanchal University’s Office of the Vice-Chancellor and Planning Division organized a one-day workshop on Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA) on May 19, 2025, as the second phase of its ongoing quality enhancement initiative at Don Bosco College, Kathmandu.The first phase was held earlier at the Central Office of the University for the colleges of eastern part of Nepal. 

Dr. Komal Prasad Dulal, Chief of the Planning Division, chaired the event, while Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Biju Kumar Thapalia attended as Chief Guest. The workshop aimed to support constituent and affiliated colleges in initiating the QAA process.

UGC resource persons—Deputy Director Ms. Bhagawati Poudel and Assistant Director Mr. Narayan Prasad Bhandari—shared practical insights into the QAA framework and its role in academic reforms. Prof. Dr. Sri Ram Bhakta Mathema also joined as a special guest, adding further value to the academic discourse.

The event brought together over 60 participants from various regions including Kathmandu Valley, Birganj, Chitwan, Nawalparasi, Damauli, Pokhara, and Manechauka, fostering collaboration and commitment toward achieving national and international academic quality standards.
