This center can be set up based on the decision of the Executive Council, utilizing financial support and resources from the university or other domestic and international agencies. Its primary aim is to conduct and facilitate educational and academic studies, research, and provide consultancy services. The Research Center is headed by an Executive Director, who serves a term of four years, with service conditions and facilities determined by the Executive Council. The Research Center has several key functions, duties, and powers. It prepares and invites research proposals and arranges financial provisions for them, develops necessary human resources for conducting research and consultancy services, and organizes training, workshops, and conferences related to research. It also coordinates with various faculties to engage teachers in research-based study and teaching, and aligns university teaching activities with research. Additionally, the center prioritizes and conducts educational and academic studies in knowledge, science, and technology to contribute to regional development through the utilization of local resources and culture. It encourages, facilitates, monitors, and evaluates research activities by teachers from affiliated campuses, and performs other tasks as designated by the Executive Council. This center will regularly monitor, provide guidance, and streamline communication and relationships among the university's bodies, affiliated and constituent schools, and campuses. It will ensure that educational, administrative, and financial activities are conducted according to university regulations, maintaining educational standards, student learning, and the operation of educational institutions. The center will be headed by an Executive Director appointed by the Executive Council from among professors or associate professors with high academic distinction. The term of the Executive Director will be four years, and their service conditions, facilities, functions, duties, and powers will be determined by the Executive Council. With 25 years of dedicated service at the university, Dr. Regmi has held significant roles including M. Phil. and Ph.D. Program Director, Director of the Purbanchal University School of Management, and membership in the Examination Direction Committee. His contributions extend beyond administrative roles, encompassing substantial academic engagements such as publishing papers and presenting at national and international forums.
