According to the mandate of the Purbanchal University Act and Regulation, a Planning Division has been established under the Office of the Vice-Chancellor of Purbanchal University to ensure its organized operation and substantial contribution to educational and academic progress. This division is responsible for conducting regular planning and outcome-oriented activities. The Chief of the Planning Division is appointed by the Executive Council of Purbanchal University and serves a term of four years.

Note: Dr. Komal Prasad Dulal (Associate Professor), a Ph. D. from JNU, currently serves as the Chief of the Planning Division at Purbanchal University. With 20 years of experience at the university, he has held roles as Deputy Dean and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Law, and Education. His academic focus on Reproductive Health is evidenced through numerous publications and presentations at national and international forums. Dr. Dulal's leadership in academic administration is pivotal in shaping university policies and programs. Beyond his academic pursuits, he has taken on diverse responsibilities and has traveled extensively to countries such as India, China, the USA, and Indonesia etc, contributing to international collaborations and enhancing Purbanchal University's global presence and initiatives.

Coordination Division

The Coordination Division (CD) is an integral component of the Vice Chancellor's office at Purbanchal University. It serves as a pivotal link connecting the Vice Chancellor's office with various internal institutions within Purbanchal University, as well as with local, national, and international universities and stakeholders. This division plays a crucial role in facilitating communication and collaboration across these entities, ensuring effective coordination and synergy in the university's operations and engagements with external partners.
