Purbanchal University-PU signed a Memorandum of Understanding-MoU with Confederation of Nepalese Industries-CNI today. The MoU was signed in Kathmandu between the Vice-Chancellor of PU, Prof. Dr. Biju Kumar Thapaliya and Vice President of CNI, Birendra Raj Pandey.
The main goal of this engagement with the prestigious institution is to establish a fruitful and mutually beneficial relationship. This allegiance aims to desire to establish a mutual understanding which will enable to explore potential joint initiatives and cooperation.
Furthermore, this partnership aligns with the commitment to help foster industry-academia relationships and also to collaborate in the preparation of labor market-driven programs, collaboration on research, faculty development, student's internship programs among many others. This will also help to jointly organize national and international conferences as well as support the capacity development of staffs of the University and CNI.
CNI, established in 2002 is a top-tier industry group which is focused on the manufacturing and service sector in Nepal. It is advocating for the promotion of industrialization, financial sector reform, promoting double-digit growth among many agendas.
The MoU has been signed for 5 years. PU Registrar Nilmani Pokharel and University's Planning Head Uttam Kumar Regmi were also present in the signing ceremony.
