Purbanchal University is honored to announce the appointment of Prof. Dr. Dhirendra Kumar Giri as the new Hospital Director of Purbanchal University Teaching Hospital (PUTH) by the Executive Council, and on 16th April 2025, the hospital hosted a successful Placement Ceremony graciously attended by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Biju Kumar Thapalia, Registrar Mr. Nilmani Pokharel, senior officials, faculty, and staffs.
Dr. Giri holds a Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) from BPKIHS and a Master in Dental Surgery (MDS) in Periodontics from Kathmandu University. He has served in key academic and administrative roles, including Hospital Director at Madan Bhandari Academy of Health Sciences, Hetauda, Chief of the Dental College at Nobel Medical College, and Faculty Member at the College of Dental Surgery, BPKIHS. His leadership is expected to bring continued growth and excellence to the university hospital.
